Support my challenge to leave MS behind!

I’m taking part in The May 50K. I will be taking on 50km throughout May and leaving my limits behind to raise funds for life-changing research into multiple sclerosis and better access to treatments!

There are over 130,000 people in the UK living with MS and I need your help to leave MS where it belongs, behind us.

You can now support this work in the UK and around the World because The May 50K supports the MS Society UK and the MS International Federation. I’ve accepted the challenge to change lives.

Please make a donation to support my challenge.

Thank you so much!

My Updates

<3 Inspirational Janis McGowan

I had the pleasure of meeting the inspirational Janis McGowan when her and her husband Robert came to The Kitchen Company in Uxbridge where I worked at the time for a new kitchen while their house was undergoing serious renovations.
I quickly learnt that we had something in common and I learnt a lot about her and her life with Robert, and their boys.
I moved on from Kitchco but sadly learnt that Janis had passed away when Robert called and told me the news.  It was a stab in the chest, such a shock to find out.  The news came at a time when I was just recovering from my big relapse and it was that time more than ever that the news was a painful reminder that MS is such an awful disease.  I heard many inspirational stories at Janis' funeral, with beautiful memories shared by family and friends.

I want to raise another glass (or mug of coffee!) to Janis.  Hopefully the funds raised now will go far to help find the cure for future generations.  Thank you to Robert for your support in this challenge.

Here’s to Fiona Wood

A donation on this page was kindly sent by Charlie Ireland, and he shared the loss of his cousin Fiona Wood from her battle with MS at only 43.
I have to say this is particularly hard hitting, I have spoken to many people who have lost someone to MS but 43 seems the youngest, it’s resonating with me as it’s only a few short years away. I’m posting this comment for Fiona, and thanking Charlie - the position on the leaderboard is in her honour.
