Support my challenge to leave MS behind!

I’m taking part in The May 50K. I will be taking on 50km throughout May and leaving my limits behind to raise funds for life-changing research into multiple sclerosis and better access to treatments! 

There are over 130,000 people in the UK living with MS and I need your help to leave MS where it belongs, behind us.

When I undertook this challenge, I thought it would be relatively easy. "it's only ten 5km runs in the month". 

My body and the universe had other plans, putting aside the dodgy knees, my ulcerative colitis that has been manageable for 5+ years decided to rear it's ugly head about half way through which, pub intended, is really shit. I lost about 4kg in the last two weeks which made energy and running incredibly difficult which is why there's a few more walks than I'd like - but a few of them are with Millie and that's the most important thing here. 

Thanks to everyone who donated, I see your names and you're all absolute legends. MS is such a difficult condition to diagnose and manage, hopefully your donations go far into helping everyone who has to live with it. 

Woah, we're halfway there...

25km done. My knees (good & bad one) have not enjoyed running properly for the first time in forever. Having to stop and spend a week or so in the gym rehabbing was not on the schedule. 

Back to it, having to go little & often now to get to the 50km target by the end of the month.
