Support my challenge in memory of our mum 💜
Hi, my name is Natalie, and I have two amazing sisters, Maisie and Felicity.
In 2013, at just 44 years old, our beautiful mum was diagnosed with primary progressive Multiple Sclerosis (MS) — a life-changing moment that turned our world upside down forever.
Her MS was aggressive. Over the years, we watched this cruel disease slowly take her from us — physically and mentally. In 2021, at only 52 years old, we lost our mum. I was 28, and my sisters were just 23 and 21. Losing her so young has left a space in our lives that can never be filled.
Throughout Mum’s journey, one of the hardest things we faced was the lack of support, understanding, and accessible help. We often felt alone navigating such a devastating diagnosis. That’s when we realized just how vital awareness, funding, and support services truly are.
This year, we are taking part in the MS society 50km walk.
We’re doing this:
💜 In loving memory of our mum
💜 To raise vital funds for MS support
💜 To raise awareness of this devastating disease
💜 To support our own mental health through movement and reflection
Every step we take is for her — and for everyone affected by MS.
Multiple Sclerosis affects over 150,000 people in the UK. MS Society provides vital support, information, and services so that no one has to face MS alone.
We don’t want other families to feel unsupported the way we once did.
If you’re able to donate, no matter how small, you’ll be helping the MS Society continue their life-changing work. If you can’t donate, sharing this page would mean so much to us.
Let’s walk for Mum.
Let’s make a difference together. 💜
With love,
Natalie xx
