Support my challenge to leave MS behind!
I’m taking part in the May 50K to support the MS Society UK. In November 2022 my Mum was diagnosed with MS, also known as multiple sclerosis which is a neurological condition where the immune system attacks the myelin sheath covering nerve fibres in the brain and the spinal cord. As a result, this damage disrupts the nerve signals and can lead to a wide range of symptoms such as: fatigue, numbness, weakness, balance issues and cognitive difficulties.
I’m running this for my Mum and over 130,000 people living with this condition, in the hopes that the funds raised will go towards life-changing research into better treatments and eventually finding the cure to leave MS behind us.
