Support my challenge to leave MS behind!
I am walking 150k in May to support MS society. I have chosen this as it represents the 150,000 people living with MS in the UK. MS (multiple sclerosis) is an incurable condition which causes damage to the brain and spinal cord. MS can cause physical and emotional symptoms which greatly affects the wellbeing of those who have it.
MS society is a charitable organisation which supports those whose lives have been affected by MS, and funds vital research for cures and treatments which are being developed. As well as this, MS society run a free helpline and provide resources for people who have MS and are on hand to support them. MS society is an incredible organisation which deserves more recognition for the work that they do.
I am taking part in this challenge to raise money for MS society so that they can carry on funding groundbreaking research which will improve the lives of those who have MS. I also want to raise awareness of MS and the impact that it has on peoples lives.
Keep an eye out on this page as I will be documenting all of my progress towards my goal on here. I am aiming to walk around 6km every day in May to meet my goal.

Don’t know if you knew but my dad had MS for 14 years, bed bound for around 10, which inevitably lead to him passing away in January this year. Hope this helps the cause because it’s a shitty condition!
