Support my challenge to leave MS behind!

This May, I’m taking part in the 50K for May challenge with the MS Society alongside my work colleagues.

Last year, one of my close friends and colleagues was diagnosed with MS. Watching her navigate this journey with such strength, positivity, and determination to raise awareness has been incredibly inspiring.

There is currently no cure for MS, but ongoing research and treatments can help people manage symptoms and improve quality of life. That’s why fundraising and awareness matter so much.

For many people, 50K in a month might seem manageable — something you could complete through everyday life or work alone. But for me, this challenge is about much more than distance. It’s about slowing down, being mindful, and appreciating what our bodies are capable of, while recognising that not everyone has that same freedom or ability.

Every walk and run is a reminder not to take good health for granted.

If you’re able to support me with a small donation, I’d be incredibly grateful. Every contribution will help us work towards our shared £500 goal and support the amazing work of the MS Society. Thank you so much 🧡

My Updates

It’s all done!

Just like that it’s all over! 50K completed during May. I’ve surprised myself some days with how motivated I have been. But so proud of how much we have raised. A huge thank you to each and everyone who donated or just shared good luck! I’ll be wearing my top with pride, even after tomorrow!

Central Park

Feeling like a fraud today - can I count my distance if I’m on holiday? Took half my daily steps today to put towards my goal.

NWD 5K

Had plenty of time spare this morning so took miss beans out for a little walk. We did stop a few times to play with other dogs and chat to the humans, so it did take us a lot longer than normal but we’ve raised some awareness and shared some stories about MS!

7K After Leg Day!

Sunday was leg day for me. My glutes were still killing me this morning but the sun was out and so was I! Set myself a minimum target of 3K, aiming for a 5K but totally smashed a 7K. Not bad considering I’m rusty and aching! Brings my KM’s nicely up to the halfway point!🏃🏻‍♀️

First Run of May

So I haven’t ran for months now! Started my first official run for the 50K in May with a really slow 3K while watching a friend compete in a grappling competition!
